Soceal Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
Soceal (the "App") does not collect any user data.
- We operate no backend server of our own
- We do not embed any third-party analytics or SDKs (Google Analytics, Firebase, Crashlytics, etc.)
- We do not use advertising or tracking SDKs
2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is stored only on your device (in the Keychain or local file system) and is never transmitted externally:
- Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) login cookies (kept in separate storage per service)
- Favorite accounts and group information
- Downloaded images and videos (via the iOS Photos library)
- App preferences (dark mode, button position, etc.)
- Free-tier usage counter (optionally synced via iCloud Keychain — only when migrating between your devices)
3. Network Destinations
The App communicates only with the following domains:
*.instagram.com/*.cdninstagram.com— Instagram's Web API and media CDN*.x.com/*.twitter.com/*.twimg.com— X's Web API and media CDN*.apple.com— StoreKit (subscription management) and iCloud Keychain sync
All communication is performed over HTTPS. No first-party server is involved.
4. Third-Party Services
- Apple Photos — Saved media is written to the iOS Photos library (Add Only permission)
- Apple StoreKit — Pro subscription purchase and verification are handled by Apple's system
5. Handling of Personal Information
The publisher of this app does not acquire, retain, or share with third parties any personal information about its users.
6. Use by Children
This App is distributed with an Apple Age Rating of 17+. We do not recommend its use by anyone under 17.
7. Policy Changes
If we make changes to this policy, the updated date will be noted at the top of this page.
