Soceal Help

Save from the iOS Share Sheet

• Open a post in the official Instagram or X app
• From the share menu, select "Save with Soceal"
• The media is automatically saved to your Camera Roll (no need to open the main app)
• For Stories, you need to log in to Instagram from the Account tab beforehand

No-Footprint Mode (Pro)

• Save stories and highlights from a public account without leaving a view history
• Turn on "No-Footprint Mode" for your account from the Account tab
• Enter the target username and tap "Fetch"
• Rate limit: 5 per hour / 20 per 24 hours (to avoid ban detection)

Favorites Management

• Tap the ♡ on search results to add to favorites
• Hashtags can also be searched with # and added via ♡
• Create or edit groups from the folder icon at the top right
• Move between groups: long-press the ≡ icon on the right side of a row, then drag
• Delete: long-press a row → "Remove from favorites"

Download Buttons

• A blue ↓ button is overlaid on each post
• Button position can be switched between left and right via "Account > Display > DL Button Position"
• Already-downloaded media is shown with a red ↓ (to prevent re-download)

Multiple Accounts

• Add multiple accounts from the Account tab
• Tap the chip at the top of the Home screen to switch accounts
• Rapid consecutive switches are subject to a 5-second cooldown (to avoid ban detection)

Supported Services

• Instagram: posts / Reels / Stories / Highlights
• X (formerly Twitter): timeline images and videos (HLS is automatically converted to MP4)
